This entry is for a new feature and may be incomplete. But we're working on it.
Data Weighting is a method to remove respondent bias from a survey sample and project more accurate results based on the target population. Weighting is commonly used to adjust data for disproportionate sampling, to correct possible bias via propensity score matching, and as a tool for multi-panel sample blending. This feature allows you to weight your collected data for reporting and analytical purposes.
Select the Add Weight Variable button to create a new weight variable.
Once a weight variable is created, the following options will be available to you:
- Edit allows you to change the weight variable.
- Copy creates a new weight variable with the same parameters as the original.
- Name allows you to label the weight variable for identification.
- Delete removes the weight variable from the page.
